The math nobody does

Your balance isn’t the whole cost.

Interest and time change the math. Silent Default lets you compare payoff strategies and see what happens when you change the payment.

01 / Get the full picture

Put every reviewed debt on one map.

Balances & rates

Record balances, APRs, required payments and due days. Unknown information stays unknown—not zero.

Promotional terms

Enter promotional rates and end dates. Review countdown alerts; unknown later APRs keep projections clearly incomplete.

One shared record

Review existing Credit debts before including them. Excluding a debt from a simulation preserves its history.

02 / Choose your approach

Snowball. Avalanche. Your call.

Snowball

Prioritize smaller balances and see the projected first account payoff.

Avalanche

Prioritize higher APRs and compare the modeled interest and timeline.

Also compare a fixed-payment baseline or build a custom order with drag-and-drop or keyboard buttons. The results show the math; the choice stays yours.

03 / Test a change

What if you add $100 a month?

FICTIONAL EXAMPLE · SAME INPUTS AS BELOW

$1,944.50 less projected interest

27 fewer modeled months

Avalanche with no extra: 2031-03 · $3,521.30 interest.

Avalanche with another $100/month: 2028-12 · $1,576.80 interest.

Inside your workspace, test custom extra amounts, a lump sum, or starting extra payments later. Simulations do not confirm income, change balances or move money.

04 / Compare the cost

Your payoff options, side by side.

Under these inputs, Snowball and Avalanche have the same modeled interest and payoff month. Different priority orders do not always produce different outcomes.

See every fictional input and the key assumptions
  • Example Card A: $1,500.00 balance · 12% APR · $50.00 fixed required payment.
  • Example Card B: $4,500.00 balance · 24% APR · $125.00 fixed required payment.
  • Start date: September 1, 2026. No fees, new charges, promotional rates or lump sums. Strategy comparisons use $0 extra.
  • Snowball and Avalanche roll freed required payments forward; baseline does not. The extra-payment example adds $100 monthly from the start.
  • Monthly interest approximation, rounded per debt to cents. Dates are projected month labels, not lender deadlines. Actual lender calculations can differ.

05 / Keep your plan

A roadmap—not another scattered note.

Keep historical scenarios, compare assumptions, and generate a versioned Debt-Free Roadmap. Review projected payments and the payoff calendar. Print your private report to PDF, or download individual educational math cards.

Snapshots preserve the assumptions used at the time. Restoring payment assumptions never restores old balances as current facts.

06 / Track what actually happened

Progress comes from confirmed numbers.

Confirm balances

Update actual balances deliberately. A projected payoff is never treated as a completed payment.

Review monthly

Check balances, APRs, required payments, extra amounts and your roadmap. Keep a historical review snapshot.

Mark milestones

See confirmed balance reductions and accounts at zero. Correct a payment by voiding it, not erasing its history.

07 / Give the plan a place

Connect the plan to your paychecks.

With access to Paycheck Allocation, review which paychecks could cover required, extra and lump-sum amounts. Existing minimum-payment bills are reused where matched. You approve the handoff; an assignment does not execute a payment.

Companion product access is separate unless an explicitly offered bundle includes it.

08 / Optional support

Get context. Keep the decision.

Explore education and optional support through the shared Resource Center. Credit organization lives in Credit Command Center. Funding comparisons are opt-in and use actual terms you enter—never assumed approvals or invented offers.

Before you begin

Straight answers.

Which is better, Snowball or Avalanche?

Compare both under the same entered assumptions. Snowball prioritizes smaller balances; Avalanche prioritizes higher APRs. You choose the approach you prefer. Neither is a promise of a specific outcome.

Will the payoff date be exact?

No. It is a projection based on entered balances, rates, payments and monthly simulation assumptions. Lender billing cycles, fees, rate changes and payment timing can produce different results.

Does it pay my debt?

No. A scenario or paycheck assignment is a plan, not an executed payment. Only your confirmed records update actual balances.

Does it connect to my lenders?

Not in V1. You enter and review your own information. Do not enter bank credentials or full account numbers.

Can it help my credit?

The Debt Payoff System does not guarantee a credit-score change. Credit Command Center is the companion product for organizing credit accounts, utilization and dates.

Can I explore funding to consolidate debt?

Optional resources are available when you choose to explore them. Compare actual terms and total cost. Funding approval and savings are never guaranteed, and borrowing is not the default next step.

Educational estimates. Not guarantees.

Silent Default provides educational tools and mathematical estimates based on information you enter. Payoff dates, interest amounts and strategy comparisons may differ from actual lender calculations because of billing cycles, fees, variable rates, changing minimums, payment timing and other factors. It does not provide individualized legal, tax, investment, lending, bankruptcy or debt-settlement advice, and does not guarantee debt reduction, credit improvement, funding approval or financial outcomes.
